Driving through the town of Meaford, my eye was caught by a bright cheerful looking yellow sign and the words CABBAGE ROLLS jumped out at me, as I hate to make them but my husband loves to eat them. On came the brakes and we pulled a ..well we turned around. I must say we are very glad we did. Wonderful food and service, very clean and friendly people, we will definitly be back to Meaford. We were made to feel very special. Two thumbs up for the town of Meaford…Edy and Larry Booth of Eugenia.
We were attracted by the sign ‘ Cabbage Rolls … Perogies’; . We pulled in the side street to park but when we entered the establishment our first thought was to leave since there were 4 of us. The tables would only accommodate 2,and although there was counter seating that would take us, we thought we wouldn’t be able to enjoy the company of each other. We were about to leave when a young customer offered to move so we could have tables for 2 next to each other. We were impressed … We didn’t think young people ate perogies or cabbage rolls. The smells of the food had enticed us … we accepted the young man’s offer and enjoyed a meal of wonderful cabbage rolls, lasagna, and a great salad. We are all glad we stayed … what a meal! Wonderful! We’ll be back! Derek and Sharon Johnson, Hector & Kaye Howe of Owen Sound
Bogusia and John, We enjoyed our short visit to your restaurant yesterday. The perogies and cabbage rolls were really tasty; plus, you and your other customers sure are friendly!! We drove from Collingwood to Meaford yesterday to go to the Meafords Farmers Market and the 100 Mile Market. We were hungry and had to have your perogies and cabbage rolls that we remember from last summer. They were as good as we remembered, and you now serve them in a real restaurant. Way to go!! Thanks – see you again soon, Bob and Rhoda
