Foundation receives Trillium grant

MPP Bill Murdoch and Trillium Foundation grant review committee member Liz Chalmers were on hand on Friday, March 9 to present Meaford Hall and Culture Foundation member Michael Anderson with a cheque for $27,000. The Foundation will use the grant to study the feasibility of establishing an Arts Academy in Meaford.
MEAFORD – The Meaford Hall and Culture Foundation has received a $27,000 Trillium grant to study the feasibility of starting an arts academy in Meaford.The Foundation, along with Trillium representatives and MPP Bill Murdoch announced the grant at a special press conference held Friday (April 9) afternoon at Meaford Hall.

The Foundation will use the money to study the feasibility of establishing an Arts Academy for the municipality.

The study will determine the market for the Academy, develop a business model, establish collaborative relationships with other arts and culture groups and develop a plan to implement such a venture.
