Sydenham Optimists support GTF Youth Acadamy

On Monday, April 26, The Sydenham and District Optimists gave the Georgian Theatre Festival Foundation a donation towards the GTF Youth Academy this summer. Mr. Fred Carroll accepted the generous donation saying that the monies would help keep costs down for the children.

The theatrical workshop will take place at the end of August at Woodford Community Centre. There will be applications available in the Meaford Schools shortly. This is just one of several things the GTF have been doing recently in the Community. The Youth Academy will give kids a chance to expand their horizons with some professional theatrical help.

Mr. Carroll thanked the Optimist Club for their donation.
