The Collingwood Public Library is holding a Youth Writing Contest called “Books and Beyond” for students in grades 1 through 12 who live in and/or attend school in Collingwood!
There will be prizes for all grade winners, and an opportunity to showcase your writing talent!

What do I write about?
Come visit and explore the new Collingwood Public Library. Think back to your experiences at the old library too. You can write about: What’s different or the same? How does the new library meet needs of the community? How does the new library help you have fun or learn? Why is the library a ‘hub of our community’? Make sure you include your own observations and experiences at the library.

What form?
• A personal or reflective text. Enter in English or French.

Who is my audience?
• Your friends (or peers).
