The facts of life on Earth are quite clear. We urgently need to implement better ways to manage 21st century risks to economic, environmental, and human security. Time is of the essence. Let us cooperate from the local to the global to ensure that by 2025, if not before, we are able to “bend the curve” and have humanity’s development path on track to achieve a globally sustainable way of life.
Welcome to Planet2025!
We believe that principles of good governance should compel global citizens, governments, and organizations everywhere to manage, measure, track and celebrate progress towards lowering humanity’s footprint and mobilizing an estimated $ 1 trillion annual investment required to get the job done. These two simple yet important indicators will reflect humanity’s authentic commitment to consciously shape a harmonious future for all living things on the planet as we approach 2025.But there is more. A new morality, better values, greater spiritual wisdom, hightened human consciousness through focused intent and a positive vision for the future needs to drive a wiser set of societal arrangements, rules, and regulations, both written and tacitly known. Together, they will have to guide our actions and propel us into a hopeful and very exciting future.
Why the year 2025?
At Planet2025 Network we believe that the world leading up to 2012 and beyond to 2025 is poised for a period of unprecedented and rapidly accelerating change (tell me more).
