Did you know?

In countries where chess is offered widely in schools, students exhibit excellence in the ability to recognize complex patterns and consequently excel in math and science.

If you have ever wanted to learn chess, or would like to improve your chess playing skills, the Collingwood Public Library will be holding a series of lessons with chess coach Tim denBok.

Lessons will be offered for a wide range of levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced!

Where: Collingwood Public Library

When: 10:00-11:00am

Who: Ages 7 through 18

Cost: FREE

To register, call Tim denBok at 444-5516 or enquire at the Children’s Services Desk at the Collingwood Public Library.
