The Georgian Bay area’s most talked about talent showcase…
So You Think You’ve Got Talent, will be returning to Collingwood starting on July 29th, at it’s new location, Moguls Bar and Grill.
The 14 week competition will be hosted by 97.7 the beach and is open to people of any age with talents of any sort- past competitors include singers, dancers, knife throwers, comedians and magicians. In the first weeks of auditions, new contestants will have 97.7 seconds to show their stuff to three professional judges who will then decide whether they are worthy of a golden ticket which will allow them to contine into the top 10. After the top 10 is chosen, each Tuesday contestants will perform, and at the end of the night, one will be voted out of the competition.
The top 10 performers will be brought to Toronto by SOCAN and Factor to play on their sound stage and learn the ins and outs of the entertainment business and how to get record and video contracts.
Other prizes for finalists include a $5,000 radio station promotions package, 8-10 hours of studio time at Drove Studios along with cash prizes.
So You Think You’ve Got Talent welcomes the public to watch the auditions and competition at Moguls Bar and Grill, 32 Simcoe Street, in Collingwood’s Downtown. There is no cover charge, as the show is brought to you by Peeler, and will be complete with Peeler girls and samples.
