2nd B.E.A.T. Cancer Ride
Being held Sunday, September 12
The Bluewater Unit of the Canadian Cancer Society and the Blue Knights Chapter Ontario IX is excited to announce that BEAT is about to happen once again this year. On Sunday, September 12th motorcycle drivers and riders will be participating in a Mystery Tour through Grey Bruce followed by a dinner at Montana’s Restaurant in Owen Sound.
The event will consist of check in at Montana’s Restaurant on Sunday morning at 9am. Directions and day of event Mystery tour information will be given out to all participants upon arrival. The tour will take the participants through Grey County with a relaxing tour through the Beaver Valley. All riders will convene at the end of their ride at Grey Roots Museum where they will then proceed in a motorcade into Owen Sound to Montana’s Restaurant.
Participants must pre-register for the ride at www.cancer.ca/beatbluewater or at The Canadian Cancer Society office at 163 8th Street East in Owen Sound. Registration is $25 for a driver with an addition rider fee of $15, both fees include a t-shirt. A buffet dinner at Montana’s Cookhouse will be available; including chicken, pasta, veggies, salad and dessert for an additional $20, (dinner registration will be mailed out once a rider registers online).
The Blue Knights® is a non-profit international fraternal organization consisting of law enforcement officers and their families who are motorcycle enthusiasts. The Blue Knights® have 615 Chapters and over 20,000 members in 28 countries.
Everyone from the community is invited to register. As a rider you must have a valid license and road worthy motorcycle. If you enjoy riding the open highways on your motorcycle and want to spend a few hours with fellow bike enthusiasts while raising money for a great cause, join the B.E.A.T. Cancer Ride today!
