Fun times at Blue Mountain where hundreds of people gathered to watch the Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup.

Several schools gathered at Blue Mountain to cheer on their favourite athletes. Including Marielle Thompson, Dave Duncan, Chris Del Bosco, Brady Leman and Nik Zorcic, Who all represented Canada.

The Velveteen Rabbit kid’s theatre!

This beautiful tale is a modern children’s classic, in which a stuffed toy rabbit learns what it means to be REAL. A splendid dramatic adaptation portrays a young child’s world of special toys, played by one superb actor and a cast of kids you may know! “When a child loves you for a long time, not just to play with, but really loves you, then you become REAL”, explains the Skin Horse in the story. Even had I thought of trying to get my boys to do this I probably couldn’t have. Neither were coerced into any of this and neither were hurt (for very long anyway). This was just one of those moments when I had the video camera out because the boys were being fun and they provided something really very funny.

What a great time I had with the Johnston and Reid family from Phelpston. My Dad and I arrived on thursday for our first camping trip in Meaford at the beautiful Meaford Memorial Park. We had just set up our tent as I had to show my Dad how to do it  then along came the the tornado which fortunately missed the campgrounds, but did it ever rain and rain and rain. By the time we got back all our blankets we’re soaked (sorry Bogusia), but happily our friend John Earl from Meaford lent us some camping gear and all was well. What a start to a great summer adventure. We had so much fun we’re going to make it a tradition, Yahoooooooooooooo…

APRIL, 11th, 2009  - Susan Boyle shocked everybody in the auditorium as they we're all amazed.  Before Boyle sang everybody had a disgusted look on there face, and more than likely thinking “oh this will be a show”, well they were right it was the show of the year. At first, I’m sure we all were being very judgmental about Boyle’s apearence but this teaches us all a lesson “don’t judge a book by it’s cover” .
